Detox The Skin With Greeny Superfood Made By Youth To The People
If someone asked me what is my skin care holy grail, without a doubt I will scream "YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE'S MASK!". The brand name is unique and quite long (even my younger sister had a rough time to remembers the product's name 😂). Nevertheless, they way they combined organic botanical ingredients with science makes me curious to try all of their products.
Just in case you are wondering, Youth To The People (or we can call it YTTP- to make it easier hehe) is an American skin care brand that locally made in California in a small batch. Based on their story, turns out the founders' grandmother is one of the pioneers that brings natural and botanical derived ingredients into U.S professional skin care industry. So we can say that their skin care recipe is a legacy from generation to generation.
The first time I discovered YTTP is through Sephora, when I was looking a new organic skin care brand that will help me to enhance my skin's conditions. I am still in the searching the best skin care that has a great, organic ingredients that can help to give a deep hydration to prevent fine lines look more visible.
Believe me, the process of finding the best skin care is requiring lots of patience and effort. Because I knew, if I ever find it, I will stick with a product or a brand for at least 10 years from today. As an old wisdom says, "Don't spend your time (or money) with the wrong person." I think it goes the same with a skin care.
YTTP claimed that most of their skin care products are made to prevent ageing with powerful-superfood ingredients such as kale (yes! kale! don't you excited?), micro algae, green tea, and spinach. From all the ingredients, YTTP committed to use mostly kale as their main ingredients on their skin care products' range.
Perhaps you already know, but, kale is well-known as the most nutritious plant on Earth. It contains Vitamin A, C, K, Calcium, Magnesium and many more. Aside, it also one of the purest source of antioxidants with anti-inflammatory power as well. So Dearest, perhaps after this you will consider to eat or use more kales for your healthier skin and body ;)
After I look closely and realised that YTTP is the only one skin care brand that use kale as their main ingredients, I decided to try their products. I am seeking a way on how to get the product shipped to Jakarta. YTTP website is offering international shipping as well, but the shipping fee is quite expensive and I don't want to take the risk to purchase it online. Because based on my experience, an item that valued more than $50, will be held at custom and sometimes it took >2 weeks to get the package after it arrived in Indonesia.
The easiest way to get the YTTP product is to use a hand-carry shopping service from U.S. Luckily for me, one of my friends is running the service. The mask price on the website is $44, or around Rp. 594.000 for 2 oz/60 ml. I purchased them at Rp. 700.000, many ways cheaper compared to pay the worldwide shipping and the customs fee.
The mask came on mid-August in a beautiful, eco-friendly box with a small spatula. The jar packaging made from glass, not plastic. So it's safer and feels luxurious. When I first opened the jar, I can smell a thick buttery green-smoothies-like scent, and the texture is so creamy as well, almost similar with an avocado smash. I am dying to slathers the mask onto my skiinnnnnnnn!
I know that it becomes my holy grail from the first spread. It was so smooth, moist and it feels fluffy when I applied the mask. The thick-creamy texture doesn't makes my skin heavy. Instead, I feel so light, calm and relax. I felt a high temptation to mixed my YTTP mask with greek yoghurt and added little honey so I could eat it (LOL) while I did the mask ritual. I leave the mask for almost 20 minutes and I can see that the mask dried off. To cleaned it, I wash my face with a warm water and wipe it with muslin cloth for extra exfoliation.
After I used the mask for almost a month now, I feel that my skin more balanced. Noticeable results so far are:
- Supple, smooth skin. I feel that my skin becomes more bouncy than ever. I usually combined this mask with Hyaluronic Acid booster serum from Hylamide. (Yes, even though the mask itself also contains HA).
- Balanced, hydrated skin. Especially in cheeks and forehead areas where my skin becomes easily dry.
- Natural, rosy glow. I feel that my skin becomes naturally glowing after used the mask.
Based on the results, I think this mask also works for people that searching for an instant-lift up to get rid dull or tired skin. The mask also suitable for any skin types as the ingredients are totally organic and non-irritating. For a first encounter with YTTP, I am satisfied with their product and want to use more in the future! Does anyone have ever tried other YTTP product? Let me know your experience with them as well 😍😍😍
